Building a Web site for my wife and I (the "square pair"), I planned it out so I could easily keep family and friends updated with our latest news.

Good for users:

Built for the lowest common denominator—namely friends in Europe on dial-up that have to pay by the minute for connection—I designed the site to be as quickly loading as possible. Even for the photo galleries, they are quick loading while maintaining maximum aesthetics.

Good for client:

It's an easy way for me and my wife to update family and friends in one central location. Other privileged information lives behind a cgi-protected area that gives those that know us access to our address, directions and other personal information.
