Tom Peasant Pies

I designed this logo for a lunch restaurant that specialized in English pasties; part of the character of the restaurant was spun around the legend of Tom Thumb. This was the clean and friendly logo that he used to beckon people to come into his restaurant.

Over the years, a trademark conflict was discovered with another food company that used "Tom" in its name. The Tom Thumb character of the Tom Peasant Pies logo was so popular and recognizable with the restaurant's clientele that after changing the company name to just Peasant Pies, they wanted to keep the recognition of the character. Here is the rework of the logo I created for them.
