Introducing You Perform 1.1—70 improvements including support for Microsoft Word

The newest version of You Perform includes more than 70 improvements that enhance Outlook by adding new features and capabilities that blend seamlessly with the Outlook user interface. With the new version Outlook users who use Microsoft Word as their email editor in Outlook can now take advantage of You Perform's 15 value-add tools that extend the power of Microsoft Outlook.

No charge upgrade to You Perform 1.1 for current You Perform users

Current customers of You Perform with a Web connection will receive an automatic update at no charge. The new version, You Perform 1.1, is available now.

If you have set You Perform to accept automatic updates you will receive the new version when you load You Perform and are connected to the Internet.

Use Microsoft Word as your email editor with You Perform 1.1

Now you can use You Perform's productivity tools to help manage your email when you use Microsoft Word as your Outlook email editor.

Using Word within Microsoft Outlook gives you advanced editing capabilities including:

  • Spell Checking while you write:
    • AutoCorrect
    • AutoFormat
    • AutoText
    • Using Tables
  • To set Word as the default editor for email messages in Outlook:
    • Select Tools | Options from the menu in Outlook.
    • Click on the Mail Format tab.
    • Make sure the Use Microsoft Office Word 2003 to edit e-mail messages checkbox is selected.
    • In versions before Outlook 2003, the text reads Use Microsoft Word to edit e-mail messages.
    • Close the dialog.
